Greyson was the easiest newborn I have ever shot.  Hands down.  His mom is my hair girl and we do tradesies so she came over for a couple of hours to get these shots.  Speaking of tradesies. . . I do them.  I love doing them.  If you have something to trade, be it a good or skill, hit me up.  I might be interested in working something out.

What more can I say about this little guy. . . he was a champ.  He was perfectly chubby and slept like nobody’s business.  I love newborns.

Giveaway! {SNEAK PEEK}

March 2, 2012

I’m looking forward to a fun little giveaway sponsored by the What to Expect line of books!  The What to Expect While Expecting book was like my bible when I was pregnant the first time and I’m really excited to be hosting a giveaway of their book.  More info to come, but in the meantime if you have no idea what I’m talking about you can check out their website here!!

Have a great weekend!!

Rendy

Lainey and Leah belong to a family we know through school and church.  They are perhaps the most adorable girls I have ever known.  I have the pleasure of singing with Lainey every Sunday at church and she is such a joy.  Her little curls just melt my heart (and make me jealous for Scarlett).  Leah has recently turned 18 months old and is the sweetest little sister.  I loved seeing the girls interact with each other during our little session.  They were just so sweet!

The first shot is my fave.  Perfection.

I had the privilege of photographing little Jacoby’s first birthday party not long after we celebrated our own little darling’s first birthday.  It was fun to see all of the work that Jacoby’s mom had put into his party.  She did such a great job!  As you’ll see, it was a bug themed party in their beautiful back yard.  Absolutely no detail was left out, down to the little fondant bugs on the cake and cupcakes.  Jacoby wasn’t sure about the cake, but he had lots of fun being passed around between many loving friends and family members.  It is such a joy to see the huge network of support that this little guy has.  What a lucky little boy!  Happy Birthday Jacoby!!

I love doing newborns.  Love, love.  They’re so sweet and while you might expect it to be stressful, I find newborn sessions to be the least stressful of all.  I just love shushing them and rocking their little bodies to sleep.  Asher was no different.  He slept like a champ and hardly cried.  His big brother is perhaps the cutest little boy I’ve ever laid eyes on and he was equally sweet.  I’m not sure how his parents ever say no to those baby blues.

I am WAAAY behind on blogging, but better late than never I hope!

Stella had a birthday!  That’s right, MY baby is now one.  I’m still in shock.

To mark the occasion we did a Cake Smash photo session.  These are so fun.  I used some decor from her birthday party (which I will be blogging shortly) to decorate the backdrop.

I just love her little smiles at the beginning, and her fake crying at the end is priceless.

This picture says, “No more cake, Mommy!”

Baby Ty turned 1!!!  Okay it was a few weeks ago, but I’m still really excited after looking through these pictures.  A first birthday is such a big deal (for mommies) that we like to make a big fuss and celebrate this milestone in a million ways.  One of the ways we celebrated Ty’s birthday was by doing a Cake Smash photo session.  His mom made him this fabulous rainbow cake and a cute “1″ onesie.  Haha. . . one-onesie.  Why is that funny?  It’s not that late!

Anyway, Happy Birthday Ty!!  We love you!!

Lila Mae is the sweetest little thing ever.  She was wide awake for the first little while which is not ideal, but after much coaxing and a little milk she went right to sleep and once she was out there was no waking her.  She was like putty in our hands.  :)     This wasn’t a full session, just an afternoon with a friend and her new baby.  And when my little baby woke up from her nap, I swear she had tripled in size.  (Holding a 6lb newborn for a while will really mess up your perspective on babies!)

Maeva and her mama came over the other day to get some pictures of her in her fancy Easter dress. . . . and then some in her fancy birthday suit.  :)   It was so fun playing with them and seeing sweet Maeva’s reaction to the camera and to sitting on a huge piece of paper.  She is such a cutie!

For Ronae {SNEAK PEEK}

October 27, 2010

I know what you’re thinking.  “Two posts in one day?”  Yep, I’m that good.  :)

No, actually Ronae’s sister has been hassling me like crazy to get a picture of this sweet little girl up.  And now you know why.

Don’t you just want to pinch those cheeks?
