Andrea and Matthias got married in the beautiful Methow Valley in northeastern Washington and we had the privilege of sharing the weekend with them. The couple, their families, and a group of their closest friends spent the weekend horseback riding, mountain biking (ahem, wrecking), and enjoying the beautiful views from Sun Mountain Lodge. Their ceremony was on a beautiful lawn overlooking the valley and the setting sun. The area abounds with natural beauty and reminds you a bit of days gone by. Andrea included that feel in the details she chose for the wedding including vintage handkerchiefs, antique blue canning jars, and home-made caramels as favors. It was such a pleasure to be included in this intimate group. Thank you so much Andrea and Matthias and congratulations!

Trish and Alex {MARRIED} Seattle Wedding Photography
September 8, 2011Trish and Alex are my fave. They’re so sweet and completely in love. I can’t even remember how many times I cried during their wedding and reception. . . Let’s just say it was embarrassing.
You may remember their charming picnic engagement session. If you thought they couldn’t be any cuter, then you’re just wrong. Trish made the most beautiful bride and Alex was the perfect doting groom. They were surrounded by family and friends at the Lake Wilderness Lodge in Maple Valley and everything was beautiful. Before the ceremony, we went into the arboretum next to the lodge for some bride & groom shots. Then their ceremony was overlooking the lake with Mt. Rainier in the distance.
This may be the longest post ever because I just couldn’t narrow the pictures down, so I’ll stop jabbering and get on with it!
My friend Kristina Wunsch of Poppi Photography second-shot this wedding for me and she got this AMAZING shot. More of her work below. Thanks Kristina!!

Trish & Alex {ENGAGED} Seattle Wedding Photographer
May 20, 2011Trish and Alex were the cutest couple I’ve ever seen. I’m not exaggerating. I honestly don’t think I could have dreamed up a more adorable couple and the icing on the cake is that they are completely cool. We met at Golden Gardens on a beautiful (if chilly) Saturday morning and found some really nice little spots to shoot. Trish brought along a little picnic basket and some Jones Soda for them to enjoy, which was especially cool since they will be Mr. and Mrs. Jones in a few months!
By the way, if you ever want to see a bazillion sailboats head to Golden Gardens bright and early on a Saturday.
This is my favorite shot.
And finally, I love this sequence.

May 12, 2011{OH SNAP!} It’s a Photo Booth!- Seattle Photographer
March 21, 2011I recently had the opportunity to share my fantastic Photo Booth at an auction benefiting a local elementary school. The event had a western theme and boy did things get rowdy!
Photo Booths are becoming a “must-have” for events and wedding receptions, and it’s not hard to see why. Get your guests acting goofy and send them home with a hilarious snapshot to remember all the fun they had!
If you’re interested in booking the Photo Booth for your upcoming event or wedding reception, contact me for more information!
Jamie and Ben {MARRIED} Part two
September 22, 2010Jamie and Ben {MARRIED} Washington Wedding Photographer
September 15, 2010Oh man. I’m dying to get some of these up, but things have been CRAZY around the Tucker household lately so. . . I’m going to do a shorty post now and then another next week when I have a chance to do some more editing. So. . . on with the show.
Jamie and Ben were married over labor day weekend at the Puffer Butte Lodge in Field Springs State Park. Jamie and I (and half of her bridesmaids) cheered together in high school, so this wedding was something I’ve really been looking forward to. I haven’t seen most of these girls in 10 years so that made it the perfect event to draw me out of my maternity leave.
Their wedding was a casual, intimate gathering of friends and family and the location gave it that special down-home feeling. The thing that impressed me the most about Jamie and Ben’s wedding was how easy it was to feel the love they have for each other and for their families. Every detail was a reflection of their love. Everything felt real, personal, and a bit like home. Jamie was the most graceful, stunning bride and it was clear that Ben absolutely adores her. There is something really special about the connection they share and I am so glad that I could be there to witness it.
Chris & Lindsay {MARRIED}
June 2, 2010Chris and Lindsay were so much fun. When I talked to Lindsay before the wedding about what she wanted for her bridals, she said she wanted to hit Riverfront Park and ride the carousel. Does that sound like an easy-going bride or what?
Chris and Lindsay’s big day was May 15th and despite all of the crummy weather we’ve been having, it was beautiful and sunny. We did, in fact, hit Riverfront Park as well as another one of the bride and groom’s favorite spots- The Elk Public House where the wedding party celebrated with a toast after the ceremony. The reception was held at the beautiful Lincoln Center and the bride and groom made their way to the reception in a vintage pick-up truck.
Thank you Chris and Lindsay for letting me tag along for all of the fun!
Darrick and Kelsey {MARRIED}
February 10, 2010Darrick and Kelsey got married in Las Vegas in November and had a reception for family and friends in Medical Lake last weekend. Boy, do I wish I had thought of that! It was fun to be with the bride and groom {not} on their wedding day. It was a relaxed and fun celebration.
I didn’t have a much time with the bride and groom alone, but I had plenty of sights to capture during the reception. Thanks Darrick and Kelsey for having me!

Steven & Jill {MARRIED}
January 20, 2010This wedding was special in a few ways. . .
It was the very day of my 6th wedding anniversary.
I know the groom’s family and they’re awesome.
and. . .
It rained all day long.
Luckily, nothing could dampen the spirits of this couple. They are so in love, and it was obvious that they were just happy to be together and celebrating with their families!
Congrats to Steven and Jill!
