Nicole and Devin are engaged and getting married in Portland this summer.  We had originally planned on meeting in downtown Spokane to get some classy/urban engagement shots but Nicole contacted me the night before our shoot to let me know that the St. Patty’s Day parade was going to be happening at the same time we were planning on shooting.  Hmm. . . That would have been bad.    That, I would say, is one of the downsides of being new to an area.  I’m clueless about stuff like that.

Well, luckily the day was beautiful and Manito Park was relatively empty (duh! everyone was at the parade!).  And may I just say, I was impressed that Nicole walked all around Manito in her high-heels.  I would have ended up in the emergency room with a broken ankle!
