For Ronae {SNEAK PEEK}

October 27, 2010

I know what you’re thinking.  “Two posts in one day?”  Yep, I’m that good.  :)

No, actually Ronae’s sister has been hassling me like crazy to get a picture of this sweet little girl up.  And now you know why.

Don’t you just want to pinch those cheeks?

The Evans family makes my job easy!  They were so laid-back and absolutely beautiful that I don’t think I could have gotten a bad shot of them.  Their two little kiddos are both sweet and a little bit shy, but look at those eyes!  They also brought along Ali’s baptism dress and we got a couple of shots of her looking downright heavenly.  What a wonderful family.  Thanks again!

My favorite shot:

The Dershem family contacted me after we had already moved to Seattle about having a family session in Spokane.  Fortunately, I was able to fit them when I went over at the beginning of the month.  Even though our session was interrupted by a hungry baby and a bit of rain, I think we got some fantastic shots!  Thank you to the Dershems for being so cooperative and so darn good-looking!

This is my favorite shot of the day.

I have been lucky enough to photograph this little lady since she was a newborn.  She’s such a cutie.  This shot is my favorite because you can just tell how much she loves playing with her daddy.

For Darci I decided to post something a little different.  This is absolutely my favorite shot from the session but usually I wouldn’t post it because I don’t think it’s what parents typically want to see.  Darci, however is a bit of a photographer herself, so I’m hoping she can appreciate my choice.  This shot speaks leagues to me.  There’s something so sweet about the way their hands are held together.  I just love it.  I hope you do too Darci!

This is sweet little Ava who I had the pleasure of photographing when she was brand new.  Now she’s almost walking!  My does time fly when it’s measured by a baby.

Here’s yet another beautiful Eastern Washington family.  This shot just melts my heart.

Shots like this make me want to get my family’s pictures done.  :)   Which I happen to be doing this weekend and I’m frantically trying to get our outfits together.  I had no idea it was so stressful!

Last weekend I had the privilege of photographing 6 beautiful families.  Since there is no way I’m going to get them all edited right away, I’m going to do a sneak peek for each family so they have a little something to smile about while they wait for their pics to be edited.  Speaking of editing, if anyone wants to come babysit my kids while I sit at the computer I could totally accommodate that.  :)

So. . .without further ado. . . this one is for Jen.

I wanted to post these of Stella before I head to Spokane this weekend because I know I won’t get around to it once I’m home and editing like a mad-woman.

These pictures were taken at the beginning of September and are significant because she’s wearing a diaper cover that was made by her great, great, great grandmother for Grandma when she was a baby.  (did that make sense?)  And the dress was Stella’s grandma’s when she was a baby too.
