Sarah and I met when Stella was just a little babe and we were participating in a language study at UW.  You read that right, I let researchers at the university do experiments on my kids.  :)

Sarah was the mastermind behind the study and we got to see her quite often for a couple of months, during which time she got engaged to a wonderful and very lucky guy.  I was so excited to be able to meet up with them on a beautiful spring Saturday morning.  We started out at Golden Gardens, which was stunning.  Then we headed to downtown Ballard to wander around a bit in one of their favorite Saturday morning spots.  We also had the honor of spending the morning with their English Bulldog, Rearden who has a face you can’t help but love.
